As a Coaching and Development Specialist you will be expected to deliver comprehensive, high quality and outcome-focused employment services to a caseload of job seekers who are People with Disabilities (PWD), in line with Ingeus’ core values.
- Building appropriate and professional rapport with clients, demonstrating the benefits Ingeus’ services can provide. This will be achieved through face to face initial appointments and ongoing engagement activity through a variety of mediums.
- Managing a caseload of clients with differing levels of readiness for work tailoring your approaches and managing your diary to deliver the best results for your clients
- Working in a performance-driven environment to stretch but realistic targets. Your goal as a Coach is to place as many people as possible into jobs and you will deliver these results for our clients using your creativity, tenacity, and passion
- Conducting a diagnostics assessment with all referred clients to assess job readiness and the appropriate level of support required on the customer journey.
- Providing intensive support to all clients with job searches on a one-to-one basis and in group settings dependent on the customer journey identified by the diagnostic assessment.
- Conducting job search and job matching in partnership with the client using a variety of sources and techniques.
- Assist client in preparing resumes and cover letters to a high standard in line with identified best practices.
- Coaching and preparing the client for job interviews.
- Providing initial in-work support for the first 1 months of employment with the aim of helping the client be successful in the job.
- Ensuring that relationships are maintained with key internal partners including the administrative and employer servicing teams.
- Facilitating job focused group work for clients.
- Ensuring that all documentation relating to the client is completed and maintained in an accurate, timely and respectful manner.
- Conducting employment market analysis and support Employer Services colleagues with business development activity.
- Building rapport with employers who are keen to hire and support clients who are PWD.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year working experience supporting PWD is a requirement.
- Ability to build rapport and experienced in working with PWD.
- Ability to think creatively with a "can do" attitude
- Demonstrates excellent communication and listening skills, understands its importance in both client relationships and teamwork
- Positive and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrates excellent organization and planning skills showing an ability to work well under pressure or in difficult situations and build empathy with clients
