KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist in identifying and prospecting potential clients in the assigned market segment, territory and solution selling of specialised equipment.
- Learn and understand the technical requirements of potential clients and recommend suitable solutions.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Coordinate with other teams, such as Supply Chain and Engineering, to facilitate project execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to enhance sales opportunities through digital outreach and solution-upselling.
- Assist in delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance and answer inquiries from clients regarding products and services.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotes and contracts.
- Ensure timely and accurate issuances of invoices to clients and prompt collection of monies.
- Participate in negotiations and contribute to closing sales deals.
- Strive to achieve individual and team sales targets to drive business growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the Sales Support team to ensure seamless order processing and customer support.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Good understanding of technical products and their applications.
- Familiarity with sales software and CRM tools is a plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of proven experience in sales or a technical role is preferred.
