Job Description
- To troubleshoot and resolve electrical equipment breakdowns, lead a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, checking and inspection, troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls of machinery and equipment, in company’s safety initiatives requirements
- Achieving 0 LTIF target through ensuring safety procedures are followed through SOP, TRA, employees wearing full PPE during work, developing safety procedures
- Managing electrical breakdowns of all machines through diagnosing the cause of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment
- Managing energy saving/improvement projects to ensure on time and correct implementation according to electrical installation standards. Perform interpretation of circuit/single line diagram, data gathering and planning.
- Analyse and edit existing PLC applications to improve functionality.
- Improving safety by performing 5S housekeeping activities by performing housekeeping inspections twice a week and ensuring designated areas are well-kept
- Ensure electrical maintenance cost is controlled within allocated budget. Spare parts management to ensure sufficient stock for maintenance and emergency usage.
- Prepare documents or reports required by section head.
- Conduct training for technicians and supervisor
- Calibration of sensors and equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Familiar with Electrical power distribution, high tension
- Proficient in PLC programming
- Proven experience of supervising and managing mechanical site activities for large scale manufacturing project from inception to completion.
- Possess strong orientation towards results.
- Effective communication, both in verbal and written form English and Chinese.
- Possess good teamwork capabilities
- Possess good project and time management.
- Ability to work to an ethical code of conduct
