Job Description
Mediacorp has the widest range of media platforms in Singapore spanning digital, television, radio, print and out-of-home media. Its mission is to engage, entertain and enrich audiences.
Mediacorp is seeking a senior product manager who is passionate about delivering innovative products and services to join its Digital Group.
The ideal candidate should be a hands-on leader with strong working technical knowledge in modern web & mobile advertising technologies. He/She should have a proven track record of working in cross functional teams to deliver product features, particularly in digital consumer products and/or digital advertising space.
Job Responsibilities
- Working with the larger Commercial Group, to conceptualize, develop and implement monetizable product features across Digital News Products.
- Managing and supporting various business stakeholders on GTM activities surrounding product-related launches.
- Be able to influence and pitch to different business units and leadership on innovative product-led commercial and user engagement initiatives while clearly articulating business cases.
- Contribute and participate in large-scale commercial campaign planning to ensure on-target deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular competitive landscape scanning across our suite of products & services to surface emerging trends to be worked upon in product roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in digital product development, digital marketing, advertising, consulting or related fields.
- An expert practitioner of Agile product development principles
- Experienced in building consumer-facing digital products & services
- Depth of knowledge of paid, owned and earned digital media platforms
- Strong understanding of the Digital landscape and innovation trends
- Understanding of market and consumer research and deriving data/research driven consumer insights
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and related technology
- Strong technical knowledge in client-side web & mobile app development; ability to read code in Javascript, HTML & CSS
- Experienced in developing and innovating new ad products
- Excellent communicator; have strong articulating and presentation skills
- Knowledge and experience using product management tools e.g. JIRA
- Experienced in user-centered design processes and analysis tools
- Prior startup and/or entrepreneurial experience a plus
- Previous experience in a large publisher and consulting firm an advantage
