Job Description
- Formulating and updating safety policies and procedures in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act requirements
- Ensuring that safety policies are communicated effectively to all employees
- Identifying and assessing potential hazards in the workplace
- Conducting regular risk assessments and recommending measures to mitigate identified risks
- Providing safety training to employees on a regular basis
- Conducting orientation programs for new employees to familiarize them with safety protocols
- Performing regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify safety hazards
- Conducting safety audits to ensure compliance with WSH standards
- Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine the root causes
- Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions based on investigation findings
- Keeping abreast of changes in safety regulations in Singapore
- Ensuring that the company remains in compliance with WSH acts
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
- Work in multiple locations
Requirement
- Registered WSH Officer/Safety Officer with MOM
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in WSH for building/construction industry
- Possess a minimum Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety Management or related field
- Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills
