Job Description
- Deploys Engineering decision-making to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment breakdowns
- Identify and address potential issues before they escalate to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Achieving 0 LTIF target through ensuring safety procedures are followed through SOP, TRA, employees wearing full PPE during work, developing safety procedures
- To support the section in terms of external resources/vendor management
- To drive safety, cost, energy and reliability improvement projects in MSP through application of Mechanical integrity and quality assurance
- Recommend and implement modifications or upgrades to enhance machinery reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Perform root cause analysis and work towards resolutions
- Oversee all required engineering qualification tests on project; ensure compliance with all outside parties involved
- Participate in test runs and field installations
- Analysing and interpreting data
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
- Provide training to maintenance technicians and operators on equipment usage and maintenance procedures
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience of supervising and managing mechanical site activities for large scale manufacturing project from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
- Possess strong leadership.
- Possess strong orientation towards results.
- Effective communication, both in verbal and written form English and Chinese.
- Possess good teamwork capabilities
- Possess good project and time management.
- Ability to work to an ethical code of conduct
