The Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect who will be designing and implementing Salesforce solutions. You are also tasked with mentorship of a team in guiding them to follow the best practices in both the IT and Salesforce projects.

Your responsibility will include but is not limited to:

  • Lead and oversee dynamic teams within Salesforce, comprising Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Architects, Developers, and Quality Assurance personnel
  • Assume responsibility for delivering work packages to customer-facing project teams, ensuring timely and high-quality completion
  • Facilitate collaboration across different teams to leverage synergies and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Implement practices to ensure robust testing, such as requiring equivalent test methods for every Apex method developed
  • Achieving at least 85% test coverage in QA. Enforce code review processes against established development standards before deployment to QA
  • Establish and disseminate Salesforce development standards to broader technical teams regularly
  • Ensure developers incorporate feedback from code reviews before deployment to QA through consistent training and project audits
  • Verify the correct setup of version control at project initiation and enforce its use as the primary source for development
  • Execute project and program management tasks. Participate actively in the Center of Excellence (COE), conducting technical and solution reviews for all projects regularly
  • Provide comprehensive reports to internal senior management or leadership teams on various engagement aspects, including delivery, bid management, staffing, and financials
  • Lead internal initiatives to enhance methodology, tooling, and skill sets within the practice, including initiatives such as the Architect & CTA Academy and implementing CI/CD and version control
  • Develop and enable development plans for Technical Leads to strengthen their capabilities
  • Facilitate developer bootcamps and enforce best practices across the development team
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify business pain points and propose feasible solutions. Serve as the escalation point for issue resolution, collaborating effectively with relevant parties
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, staying focused and delivering results consistently. Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business analysts, architects, developers, testers, and IT personnel
  • Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines. Handle multiple projects simultaneously with a proactive attitude. Ensure timely delivery of agreed-upon deliverables with high quality. Manage time effectively and report work accurately
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and new features

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Platform Developer I qualification, Project Management / Delivery qualification, and Salesforce Application Architect qualification is mandatory
  • Vast experience overseeing substantial delivery projects, with a robust background in overseeing Salesforce.com initiatives
  • Extensive familiarity and proficiency with the Salesforce.com ecosystem, encompassing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and more, and adept at delivering intricate SFDC solutions
  • Successfully led numerous complete end-to-end Salesforce.com implementations, particularly within highly integrated and complex environments, demonstrating expertise in deploying Salesforce AppExchange products
  • Proficient in program management and adept at problem-solving, with exceptional presentation and written communication skills
  • Thorough exposure to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Particularly adept at scope management. Assumes responsibility for critical project aspects including timelines, deliverables, budget, and metrics
  • Demonstrated capability in efficiently managing portfolios and driving operational enhancements
  • Capable of autonomously managing entire programs and respective stakeholders and projects
  • Hands-on experience in establishing branching strategies, version control, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) practices
