Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) is looking for a candidate to join them as Research Associate who can help with data collection and analyses, and the writing of the manuscript of a research project on AI and digital advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in research activities including conceptualization and planning of research projects
- Lead/assist in data gathering (including focus group discussions and surveys) and analysis for relevant projects using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Actively contribute to data analyses and the writing of academic research manuscript
- Lead the writing of reports
- Undertake any additional administrative duties as required by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Communication Studies, Psychology or related field in the social sciences
- Applicants with 1 or more years of work experience in social sciences research will be preferred. However, fresh post-graduates are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrable intellectual excellence and capacity to work with others independently
- Good project management skills, with multi-tasking ability
- Academic writing skills
- Experience with social scientific research (e.g., focus group discussions, interviews, online surveys, data analysis using SPSS)
