To grow the future as part of our full-time indoor vertical farming team. Our Farm Operators will perform all daily farm procedures. This will include cleaning of all equipment, as well as end to end farm processes from seeding to harvesting in our indoor vertical farm. We are located at Loyang Way.
What you'll do
- Work in factory-like environment (as the indoor farm is automated, direct contact with plants will be limited)
- Jumpsuits and full PPE required
> On the job training will be provided to
- Clean and use automated equipment and machinery to seed
- Manually seed and harvest sensitive crops
- Help to prepare concentrated nutrient solutions and supplies for plants
- Perform quality checks on equipment
- General facility and equipment cleaning and waste disposal
- Assemble orders for customers
- Help with material receiving, inspection, warehouse, and inventory management
- Adhere to personnel safety protocols
What you'll need
- Physically fit - able to lift up to 15 kgs and able to stand 6 to 8 hours
- Does not mind getting your hands dirty
- Ability to use electronic tablets for simple automated functions
- Able to work weekends and public holidays (PH = OT)
- Able to start as early as 7:00am
- Basic knowledge of Food Safety (training will be provided)
