About this role
Do you find purpose in connecting the digital with the physical world? In this role, you will use your digital skills to create critical infrastructure from life-saving hospitals to resilient highways. Every day you will have the opportunity to push BIM boundaries and create new possibilities for our clients. What will I do?
- Prepare, check, and document detailed architectural drawings at all scales and stages of the project, from concept to construction, and statutory submissions.
- Prepare detailed cross-sections and space proofing diagrams
- Assist team in preparation of project documentation, presentations, and detailed drawings, ensuring quality and presentation meet Arup’s standard requirements.
- Understand Singapore BIM submission requirement and assist team to update the BIM documentation to meet BIM submission requirement - Singapore BIM Guide (v2.0 and beyond), ISO 19650, and SS CP83.
- Understand international BIM standards and LOD requirements for different phases of work
- Contribute to the development of good practices within own discipline through involvement in Arup’s skills network.
What will I bring?
- Higher NITEC in Building Drafting, Diploma or Degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in Architecture within a consulting business environment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and other similar BIM software. Experience in Microstation will be an advantage..
- Knowledge of Sketch-up, Rhino or other 3D software is an advantage
- Recognises best practices and actively promotes their wider use throughout the team or group.
