Our client, a petroleum-based lubricant contract manufacturer with one of the largest blending plants in the region is currently seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join them as a Lab Technician.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performing quality control testing according to documented test procedures
- Recording and maintaining all testing records systematically
- Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Preparing trial blends and samples as requested
Job Requirements:
- Min Nitec/Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/ Chemistry or equivalent
- Prior lab experience is advantageous
- Able to work shift hours - AM Shift: 7.15am to 3.00pm (Mondays to Fridays), PM Shift: 3.15pm to 11pm (Mondays to Fridays) - $22/day allowance (Change in shift every quarter – 3 months)
- Willing to work OT on Saturdays when required (OT is on normal hours eg. 8am – 5pm)
