Job Description
We are seeking for an experienced and talented UX Research Manager to lead and manage our UX research efforts. The ideal candidate should have experience working in agile teams, with UX designers, product managers and developers. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of UX research, from planning and designing studies to analyzing and presenting findings to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of user-centered design and be familiar with the latest research methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements and input from cross-functional teams into UX research works
- Work alongside the user experience and user interface design teams to translate the UX screens, prototypes into specific user testing requirement
- Lead and manage the UX research works across Mediacorp digital products, providing guidance and direction to team members and stakeholders
- Develop and implement research strategies that align with business objectives
- Plan and conduct user research studies, includes but is not limited to guerrilla testing, usability testing, tree testing, card sorting, user interviews, surveys, and field studies
- Plan and prioritise resources effectively and efficiently across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals
- Analyze and interpret data to identify users' needs, motivations, behaviors, patterns, insights, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate research findings into product development processes
- Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organizatio
- Keep up-to-date with the latest UX research methodologies and trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in UX research, including at least 1-2 years in a management or leadership role
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Experience planning and conducting user research studies, including moderated and unmoderated remote user testing, usability testing, A/B testing, user interviews, surveys, and field studies across different platforms on mobile devices, web, and desktop. Experience on TV platforms and with Eye-tracking technology is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and distil it into actionable insights
- Strong knowledge of different UX metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), Task success rate, Usability metrics and etc
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Familiarity with UX research tools and A/B Testing tools such as Qualtrics, UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Mixpanel, Maze, Optimisely and etc
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus
