RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational and maintenance support for Satellite Broadcast Service.
- Knowledge of Satellite Transmission (i.e. Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA)/BUC, Satellite modulator, Integrated Receiver Decoders (IRDs) or Satellite Headend (i.e. Video Encoder, Multiplexer)
- Perform equipment/system configurations, Video switching, IP routing and monitoring of Radio Frequency (RF) & Video signals for Broadcast production and operation.
- Perform Satellite uplink and downlink configurations.
- Perform RF equipment/system preventive and corrective maintenance
- Perform Broadcast equipment/system preventive and corrective maintenance
- Perform IP broadcast network configurations and maintenance.
- Resolve technical issues and to provide periodic/planned preventive & corrective maintenance.
- 4 years of experience required in relevant industries.
- Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or any related discipline.
- Knowledge in network and video transport technologies.
- Knowledge in audio, video and broadcasting system.
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team.
- Willingness to take on new challenges.
