THE POSITION
We are seeking an exceptional individual for the exciting position of Project Manager, Fundraiser (six to eight month contract position). Reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with the Relationship Manager and Business Development Manager to ensure the success of our annual fundraiser - PangsGiving.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning phase of our annual fundraiser – PangsGiving.
- Provide strategy and negotiation guidance on donor and sponsor management, including attending meetings with sponsors, development of proposals and drafting of communication plans for donors.
- Conduct weekly work-in-progress meetings with the fundraising team ensuring that financial targets, marketing and operational timelines are met.
- Provide guidance on the marketing of the fundraiser to donors and internal database to ensure interest and participation in the event.
- Track the budget effectively to ensure financial viability for operational costs.
- Provide expert advice on charitable giving and fundraising policies and guidelines, staying abreast of sector standards and best practices.
- Lead in the seamless execution of the fundraiser on the event day.
- Provide inputs on creating a post event report and newsletter for donors and sponsors.
REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience in fundraising, hospitality or project and events management.
- A track record of business development, partnership, sponsorship, and fundraising for events.
- Employment experience in the performing arts, charity, or not-for-profit environments is a plus.
