We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Security Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT Security team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. The IT Security Intern will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards. The intern will also assist in the identification, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in the identification, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
- Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training programs.
- Assist in the evaluation and testing of security technologies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation.
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting of security metrics.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of security technologies and concepts is a plus.
- Able to commit for a minimum of 6-months.
- Full-time interns preferred, but open to part-time interns of minimally 3 working days.
