The Management trainee will be trained to assist the Retail Manager/assistant manager in managing the store, and the specific duties and responsibilities consist of but are not limited to the following:
- Manage daily store operations and ensure efficient and effective functioning.
- Handle customers’ feedback and complaints professionally
- Ensure sample products are well-organized and in good working condition
- Responsible for inventory management and stock replenishment
- To assist Managers in regular performance reviews of sales staff, and to coach staff as and when required.
- Managing merchandising activities to optimize sales performance
- To achieve budgeted sales and gross profit for the store
- Cost management and inventory planning
- Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures
- Assisting the Manager with manpower and administrative functions for the store
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in any related discipline
- High energy and a strong passion for delighting customers
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- No experience is required but keen to explore retail
- Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Passionate and self-motivated
