ISS is looking for our next People & Culture Director (P&C) who will provide a strong leadership and lead the next chapter for our HR-function. We believe in a collaborative and inclusive workplace and aim for an experienced P&C Director to join our leadership team. We are looking for a future-oriented, proactive and efficient leader for exciting and challenging responsibilities in ISS.
Areas of responsibility
You will be responsible for leading the company's HR function and ensuring that we have HR processes and systems that support our business. You will be an active contributor to the company's business and strategic development.
You will hold a decisive role for ISS Singapore to strengthen the company’s position in attracting the right talents, continuous development, and recognition of our employees and for ISS Singapore to take conscious social responsibility.
With you on the team, you have 33 committed and skilled P&C colleagues, who work every day to ensure that our 270 managers and 8,500 service employees, that we call placemakers, succeed.
This role will collaborate closely with the Regional (Asia-Pacific) and Group P&C Specialist functions, Country Leadership Team (CLT), and report directly to the Country CEO. You have a dotted line with the Regional P&C Asia-Pacific and will be a member of the CLT.
Who are you?
We believe the right candidate has broad experience within HR in larger organizations and experience from the role of HR Director, as well as relevant higher education. We are looking for someone who can embody the local language and culture essence. You will be able to seamlessly integrate the multicultural essence and play an important role for the company's top management.
You work well in the range from strategic to operational and have great work capacity and business understanding. You will implement HR Strategies aligned with company objectives and oversee our recruitment focus and ensure that we find the talents for the future and lead the performance management initiatives. You will manage employee relations, and make sure that we are in compliance with employment law and regulations.
As a manager, you see the importance of people being our most critical resource, and you have an ability to interact and communicate outside the organization. You have a high drive and energy level, passionate about people and will be a role model having a leading position in ISS to be “The Company of belonging” fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Since we are a global company with 350,000 colleagues around the globe you need to be fluent in English, spoken as well as written. In addition, as people are at the heart of our business, you need to be conversant in the local languages to connect well with the multi-cultural demographics in Singapore.
