Job Summary:
As a Business Agility Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding and leading organizations through their Business agility transformations. Your role will involve assessing organizational needs, designing Business agility transformation approaches, and coaching teams to adopt New Ways of Working across the organization. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing new processes and metrics.
Both as a strong leader and advocate for the adoption of Business agility, you must be assertive and enthusiastic about agile practices and their benefits. You are a consultant, educator and a coach. Thus must possess great interpersonal skills, teaching abilities, and a capacity to inspire and motivate. In order to stay ahead, as a Business agility Consultant you must be self-taught, and learning continuously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide Business agility transformations across the organization, from initial discovery to full-scale implementation.
- Work with CXOs and leadership teams to develop Business agility transformation approaches that align with the organization's goals and culture.
- Conduct Value Steam Mapping, visualize target states and create transformation roadmap
- Coach teams and individuals in agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean and Scaling frameworks.
- Create and implement Business agility assessments for different levels and problem areas.
- Train and mentor Agile Team Coaches and Scrum Masters to support the Business Agility Transformation.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and other learning opportunities to help teams and individuals adopt new ways of working.
- Review and coach on Engineering Practices especially that involves complex solutions & hardware
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience including minimum 5 years in Application Development in a critical capacity like Delivery Manager/ PM/ Engineering Manager/ Architect and 3 years in business/agile Transformation consulting/coaching.
- Passionate about Business agility
- Has a deep understanding of software development processes using agile frameworks like Scrum and, Kanban, lean and scaling frameworks
- Has experience in implementing OKRs and Metrics.
- Has experience in leading agile transformations in large organizations
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with experience mentoring and training agile Coaches and Scrum Masters
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders verbally and visually.
- Ability to drive ‘change’ in client organizations using influence than authority.
- Has experience in working with Public Sector in Singapore
- Experience in Business Leadership, Partner Management, running Communities of Practices is a plus.
- Relevant Expert level Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Practice Consultant/Trainer or similar ones from LeSS, Scrum@Scale or PMI -DAD, ) are a plus
