Partner Operations Manager, Gaming (Onsite)
Looking for Partner Operations Manager to join the Global Partnerships team; this position is for a professional who puts our creators at the core of everything we do to develop relationships with existing, new creators and new strategic partnerships using their excellent operational skills. Success in this position requires strong operational skills in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against tight deadlines. You will work closely with cross-functional team internally and external partners to advocate for creator and community needs. This is a 12 months contract role based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize various internal tools to help onboard creators and troubleshooting on an ongoing basis.
- Process contract changes on a regular basis and where needed
- Work closely with Strategic Partner Managers to drive operational improvements for the region and lead various other ad-hoc initiatives to support the business as needed.
- Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, new features, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs/challenges and develop business case to actionable items for process improvement and business strategy
- Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams to advocate for partner needs
- Advocate for creators and the gaming community through different issues and new features
- Help to build gaming community in various countries through community management and efficient communications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience in business operations
- Advanced skill in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues
- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
- Self-starter, agile, intellectually curious and creative individual comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Strong operational prowess with experience in community management and process improvement
- Have a good understanding of the gaming industry and passion and love for games
- Fluency in English required and Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Thai speakers are preferred
Day to day in role:
70% - Operations
- Operations scope for day to day from marketing tasks to data presentation.
- Support processing of the contracts after the CWAM has sent it to the vendors/agencies. This CW will ensure that all the contracts are in order (signed and completed) > update the system whenever needed.
- Until March, they were mainly doing paid contracts whereby they are paying the creators monthly (based on set agreement eg. To create content, hitting a certain KPI). But after March, they will be moving to non-paid contracts whereby they no longer pay the creators but instead they will earn through Ads, Stars (whereby viewers watch and tip the creator – i.e. viewers buy stars), subscriptions – Monetization system. We will take a cut from these channels.
- Resolving issues / Task triaging – able to help the agencies and vendors. This CW needs to know how to troubleshoot, resolve and/or facilitate simple issues (eg. Payout, monetization)
- Helping to support the onboarding or offboarding of gaming creators.
- Helping Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) to prepare decks/education resources.
- They won’t be involved in any projects but if there are any the CWAM is happy to include them if they want to learn.
30% - Community Management
Interaction level with stakeholders:
- Internal: With CWAM and community managers (eg. APAC specific questions)
- External: Agency and vendors
Preferred industry experience:
- Preferably from gaming industry – operations
- Fluency in English required and Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Thai speakers are preferred (Ideally a Singapore/PR who can speak any of these 3 languages - Open to consider EP but priority is to find someone who can start ASAP)
