Asia-Pacific Corporate Banking Department
We are now seeking an experienced professional to join the team.
Your key roles & responsibilities include:
· Executing LP investments in venture capitals and originating the corporate and investment banking business with start-up companies. Managing the on-going monitoring of the investments and overseeing the operation and regular reporting.
· Conducting the credit/financial analysis, making recommendations on the deal structuring, and supporting the origination and execution on the structured finance deals, incl. leveraged financing, share-backed financing, fund financing, and Pre-IPO financing.
· Leading the new product development process which includes the risk analysis, project management, and presentation for the management in collaboration with the relevant departments.
· Supporting the regional management to accelerate their business promotion ideas by coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
· Providing the strategic insights to build the business strategy for the bank’s Asia solution platform development.
What you should have:
· At least a Degree/ Master Degree in Business, Banking & Finance or Engineering.
· Minimum 5 years of working experiences in leading financial institutions with focus on both structured finance and fund investment works will be mandatory.
· Proven track record of the deal execution experiences in structured finance (leveraged financing, share-backed financing, fund financing, and Pre-IPO financing) and fund investment (LP investment into Private Equity). Strong financial modelling skills will be mandatory.
· Solid critical thinking and analytical capability, able to form and present conclusions and recommendations.
· Strong partnership skills and able to network and collaborate across internal departments.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-changing and global environment.
· Team player as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Intellectually curious, self-motivated, and resourceful.
· Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese languages as you are required to communicate, read and understand as well as respond and present in these two languages to management in Asia-Pacific and Japan (Head Office).
