Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with key Google Cloud accounts as both an industry and Google expert within your domain. Design customer solutions, collaborate with sales, services, training, and support to help partners and customers learn to leverage Google technology.
- Leverage your domain expertise to guide customers through their transformation journey and act as a trusted advisor. Devise strategy and engage with Google ecosystem to define the optimal customer engagement with Google accounts.
- Extract best-practice knowledge and patterns from these engagements for sharing with the Google community and produce customer-facing reference architectures.
- Assist solution providers with the definition and implementation of technical solutions aligned with their business strategies.
- Provide thought leadership that benefits customers through the use of Google’s services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 20 years of experience working in the retail, health care, telecom, media, entertainment, or financial services industries.
- 10 years of experience in executive level customer-facing roles in the enterprise space, with experience translating enterprise needs into opportunities both externally and internally.
- Experience in strategic planning, business development, or experience in evaluating, incubating, and launching technology or innovations within a cloud computing/machine learning environment.
- Experience leading large-scale technical transformation in an enterprise environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience helping customers to start cloud journeys, establishing business cases and program milestones.
- Experience driving digital transformation with a variety of technology systems, designing solutions or developing applications in the specific sub-vertical industry in which you will be serving.
- Understanding of the specific sub-vertical industry, the key requirements facing business and IT leaders in the industry, and the needs from software solutions for the industry.
- Extensive network of industry executives at leading companies across the industry ecosystem.
- Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate a solution consisting of multiple products.
