Job Description:
The position, located in Singapore, is an exciting opportunity to be part of an Innovative & Dynamic team, within the Imaging Validation Team, part of the Imaging Division, working on different worldwide leading technology image sensors targeting various customers and markets (Consumer, Industrial, Automotive).
As a Functional Validation Engineer, you would be involved in the validation of the various products of the division. The objective of the job is to ensure the functional performances of the product is aligned with the specification. Two kinds of platforms will be used: FPGA prototyping platform in a first step, silicon platform with final product in a second step. You will be supported by a large team of technical experts in validation, Optic, Electronic, Mechanics, software.
As a Functional Validation Engineer, you:
- Will be responsible of validation environment development: Test suites definition, Laboratory test bench, test development, validation automation, documentation.
- Will be in charge of the analysis and the solution of technical challenges.
- Will support customer for the integration of the product in customer platform
- Will collaborate with different Product Development Teams: IC Design, IC Architecture & Algo, Embedded Software/Firmware
- Will collaborate with application team in order to provide best solution for the customer
Profile:
- Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
- At least, 6 years of experience, in Validation, Testing or Electronic product development.
- Mandatory skills:
- Analog or Digital Electronic Knowledge
- Programming skills in Object Oriented Software Language (Python preferred)
- Data Base management tools (git, SVN)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Softskills required:
- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Good level of autonomy, methodology and rigor
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in one of the following area:
- Electronic Component verification, validation, or industrial test
- Electronic System Development
- Microcontroller Firmware development
- Additional optional skills:
- Electronic System experience
- Thorough familiarity with lab measurement techniques and test equipment (Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, …)
- Standard electronic communication protocols knowledge: I2C, I 3C, MIPI CSI2
- Automatization tools experience (Jenkins, gerrit)
- Knowledge in CMOS image sensors and in image data processing
