Job Summary
(Description of general purpose of the job)
· Setup and operate a wide variety of electroplating equipments to produce high quality products conforming to the customers’ specifications.
· Perform manual labour in a fast paced production environment to meet customer demand, delivery, cost of sales and late to start.
· To support CORE & EH&S activities.
· Multi task from plating to spray painting.
· Require to use full PPE in a warm environment.
Roles and Responsibilities

· Setup, operate and maintain electroplating equipment as per Job Instruction Sheet.
· Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks as per Plating Master & Manufacturing Engineering folder.
· Read and interpret Job instruction sheet required to carry out work tasks.
· Adhere to EH&S & CORE requirements in the work place, submit Hazard observations, QCPC Turnbacks and Safety Innovative Team Projects every month.
· Work in an orderly fashion keeping work areas, work table, plating table, tools, and fixtures in a tidy and clean condition after used.
· Perform daily housekeeping and weekly total productive maintenance.
· Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
· Notify the Supervisor or any machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
· Raise Imaint when equipment is down.
Qualification and Education Requirements (Education and Work experience that a candidate should have when applying for position)
Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent):
Secondary to NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum years of experience in role:
At least 2 years of plating experience.
Preferred Skills (if any):
· Knowledge on operating an oven is an added advantage.
· Physically fit & able to work within close proximity of chemical processing.
· Work experience in electroplating is preferred but not necessary.
· Basin command of written and spoken English.
· Perform rotating shifts.
· Able to tolerate high temperature work environment.
