Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working closely with the procurement departments of supermarket chains, convenience stores, and similar retail environments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the supermarket and convenience store sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with procurement departments, key business executives, and decision-makers within the retail industry.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs actively.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services, tailoring proposals to the specific needs of each client.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients’ satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and grow opportunities within territories.
  • Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends, and forecast sales to optimize sales strategies.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to network with professionals in the supermarket and retail sectors.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Executive, with a specific focus on the procurement departments of supermarket chains, convenience stores, and related retail outlets.
  • Strong understanding of how procurement departments in the retail sector operate and the ability to navigate their processes to secure contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients, attend trade shows, and develop business opportunities.
