Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and assist the M&E team in carrying out maintenance, repairs and construction of infrastructure facilities in the Port.
- Plan inspection and maintenance works for civil, electrical and mechanical infrastructure in port are carried out according to plan.
- Manage various ongoing term and ad hoc contracts while ensuring compliance with procurement and payment guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain Building Management System.
- Ensure proper liaison between tenants, internal staff and contractors for maintenance/ repair works.
- Ensure compliance of port infrastructure with local authority regulations and codes of practices.
- Certify completion for various maintenance/ repair works.
- Monitor schedule/ progress of cyclical, ad hoc maintenance and project works.
- Attend operation and safety meetings.
- Recommend for improvement works.
- Ensure compliance of term contractors with Port’s Rules and Regulation (tenancy agreement enforcement is out of scope for FM).
- Prepare and submit monthly performance reports for term contracts and projects.
- Monitor the contractor's works with regard to compliance with technical specifications, schedule and quality requirements.
- Monitor OPEX and CAPEX expenditure according to the approved budget.
- Prepare technical specification and tender documents for maintenance Term Contracts and ad hoc projects.
- Conduct briefings to staff and contractors.
- Prepare reports and papers for budget and funds approval.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical maintenance.
- Diploma in Engineering with a minimum 10 years of similar experience. Knowledge in marine structures and ACMV will be a strong advantage.
- Certified FSM and LEW preferred.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken skills.
- Able to make presentations and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and power point.
