We are representing a private medical service company that advocates healthcare from diagnosis, treatment and maintenance of good health through a holistic and personalised approach.
As the Patient Concierge, you will be the primary point of contact for international patients, their families and caregivers to provide a seamless and high level of service to patients seeking medical care and their treatment journey at the medical centre. You will also be involved coordinating with secondary providers to ensure continuity of care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a compassionate and understanding advocate for our international patients, providing personalized assistance throughout their treatment process.
- Facilitate communication between patients, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure a clear understanding of treatment plans and expectations. Provide guidance and support to the patients and their families with travel arrangements, visa applications, and accommodation.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans that meet the needs of our international patients to ensure that patients receive culturally appropriate care, including scheduling pf appointments, coordinating the tests and procedures, and facilitating communication between providers.
- Provide interpretation and translation services as needed to ensure that patients and their families to fully understand medical procedures, diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Ensure that patients receive high-quality care by monitoring and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during the course of their treatment.
- Evaluate patient satisfaction through surveys and feedbacks and look at ways to improve our patient experience by implementing new processes, workflow that enhance the quality of care to our patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interaction and activities, as well as medical information and documentation.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, industrial relations, or related field
- Minimally 2 years of working experience in a customer service or patient liaison role, preferably in a private healthcare setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications
- Fluency in English and at least one other language
