Job Responsibilities
- Maintain all records of fixed assets movements within the Hotel in the Register and reconcile with the General Ledger.
- Tag the Hotel’s fixed assets periodically.
- Check that the depreciation of fixed assets are computed and recorded accurately by reconciling to the General Ledger.
- Conduct the sighting/audit of major category of assets’ existence on an annual basis.
- Conduct and complete inventory count, provide supervisory assistance during the stock-take process in other departments as well as in the general stores.
- Ensure all accounting entries are in order for passing of journal entries and assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules for circulation to the management and auditing purposes.
- Update balance sheet detailed schedules and expenses schedules on a monthly basis.
- Prepare the GST Quarterly Returns and payment submissions.
- Prepare yearly audit schedules and government statistical reports.
- Assist with projects and system enhancements implementation.
- Perform any other job tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Accounts Department in the hospitality industry.
- Meticulous and attentive to details.
