Our client is actively searching for a Senior Assistant Director, Graduate Studies (Marketing Comms) to join their team!

The incumbent will work closely with the Deputy Director to spearhead strategic marcomms and graphic efforts to translate the college brand concepts into deliverable visuals and applications that are in line with the business strategy for sustained achievement of recruitment goals for their programmes.
The responsibilities of this role are:
- Marcomms StrategyWork with different internal stakeholders to develop their respective marcomms plans and compelling positioning that is in line with the business strategy for sustained achievement of recruitment goals for the college programmes.
Develop well-coordinated and consistent marcomms activities across all programmes
- Global Integrated Marcomms InitiativesDrive an integrated communications strategy comprising marcomms initiatives to support the promotion of the various programmes.
Work with the various programme recruitment managers to identify and articulate USPs and communicate them effectively through the marcomms platforms.
- Corporate WebsitesEnsure the various programmes are effectively showcased through corporate website (to be done jointly with Digital Comms and Media Relations & Internal Comms teams), leveraging on easy-to-navigate design and development of current and easily accessible content, page layout, visuals, banners, among others.
Develop plans to drive traffic to corporate websites with the ultimate goal of collecting qualified leads (to be done jointly with Digital Comms team).
Optimize the website through SEO/content development by managing agencies (to be done jointly with Digital Comms team)
- Digital Marketing and EngagementClose partnership with the Digital Marketing sub-section lead to leverage on the internet and social media platforms, to increase engagement of our prospects, participants and alumni with the goal of promoting NBS programmes.
Initiate SEO, SEM, LinkedIn and FaceBook marketing, as well as other online campaigns. Drive and coordinate internal (IT, programme recruitment managers and directors, field marketing manager) as well as external (digital agency, media owners etc) resources.
- Direct Marketing for Leads GenerationUsing both digital and online media, develop strategies to promote college programmes to target audience.
Support programme recruitment managers in planning and executing direct marketing plans
- ManagingManage external partners (e.g. advertising agencies) and bring out the best of the partnerships.
Motivate, train, appraise, supervise, support and develop team (of 2 or 3)
Plan and manage marcomms budget and evaluate effectiveness of Marcomms expenditure.
- CRM and Marketing AutomationWith the help of the advertising agency, to put in place a powerful marketing automation and CRM process and tool to enhance our marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
Continually improve the processes and tools to ensure a seamless, automated and effective marketing process.
To ensure that
Leads are captured, profiled, segmented, targeted using personalised messages to generate high conversion rates.
Campaigns are accurately measured, tracked and learnings are looped back to improve future activities.
Process and tools are utilized and managed jointly with programme recruitment managers and external agency, with the goal of developing and improving internal capabilities in the long run.
- Brand managementActive curation and development of the college brand.
Engage stakeholders (e.g., faculty, students, alumni) to plan pipeline of strategic contents (e.g., thought leadership article, post-event review, videos)
Drive development of relevant contents to support the brand story.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Media, Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
- Candidates with Diploma/ Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma will also be considered based merits of level of expertise and years of experience.
- Minimum 12 years of varied marketing experience, preferably with brand management experience, of which minimal of 5 years in supervisory role(s).
- In-depth knowledge of the use of digital marketing for lead generation, including social media, SEM and SEO is a bonus.
- Experience in implementing and redefining CRM/Marketing Automation processes is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and train a team
- Experience working in an advertising agency not required, but a plus.
- Prior marketing experience in tertiary education is a plus.
