Description of the Role
- Understand functional requirement and implement technical solution (along with relevant documentation) that will meet functional requirement
- Ensure that there are complete unit tests for every component or task
- Review code and ensure it conforms to standards
- Help improve quality of existing code base
- Ensure project is complete according to written specifications.
- Follow best practices while coding for Power Apps and Power BI
- Ensure that code is scalable for high performance scenarios
- Ability to code and carry out Power Apps and Power BI development programming related tasks
- Other duties as deemed necessary for the job
- Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Ideal candidate must have proven credentials of delivering in world class engineering teams. With a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position. Must be a confident self-starter with ability to collaborate and devise solutions.
- Relevant industry certifications are an added plus. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks is required.
Core Competencies:
- 4+ years overall experience
- Must have Power Apps and Power BI experience
- Minimum of two years' experience in Power Apps implementation, configuration, system design or related business experience
- Strong understanding of the Power Platform (Scripting, Plugins, Workflows, Dialogs)
- Power Apps Developer must have experience on Model Driven Apps, Canvas App, Power Pages and Must have experience on Power Automate - cloud flows, business process flows
- Must have thorough understanding of Rolebased security and row based security in Dataverse
- Must have understanding of Plugins in Dataverse
- Must have knowledge on Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Document Libraries and Permissions
- Must have experience on power bi reports
- Must have hands on experience on .Net Framework
- Exposure to a large complex organization, including stakeholder management
- Strong knowledge of web-based Technologies
- Microsoft Dynamics RM certifications strongly preferred
Preferred competencies:
- Experience with Agile best practices and methods such Scrum, Continuous Integration, Test Driven
