To develop, implement and maintain the Human Resource strategy and policies which support the strategic needs, growth and profitability of the business; be part of the Singapore HR team to contribute in the development of progressive HR practices; and support the APAC HR team in the implementation of regional programs.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy the HR strategy in collaboration with the site leadership team to manage and drive the culture and align the organization to support the business, taking into account the corporate core values.
  • Manage, lead, develop and follow up Organizational development in collaboration of site leadership team (e.g. Efficient recruiting, competence management, performance management, succession planning, talent development etc.).
  • Advise the organization on Compensation & Benefits package to be competitive and sustainable for the business.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making processes by providing HR expertise.
  • Initiate, develop, implement, coordinate, and follow up of current and new, local and APAC HR strategy, requirements, processes and projects into the local format to ensure an effective HR support to the local business processes, with respect to local (legal) requirements.Create, implement, communicate on HR and other policies and guidelines throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment law, data protection and other relevant legislations, and Group Corporate Governance standard.
  • Lead, coach and develop HR and secretarial/admin team to ensure that a professional and cost-effective service is delivered to the business and its employees.
  • Manage employee/union relation and lead the negotiations for the collective agreement with the union.
  • Manage secondment and support Alpha project resourcing plan.
  • A member of the Site Leadership Team and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Support MCMSG branch offices (Malaysia and Taiwan).
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business and operation needs.

Requirements on Candidates:

  • Degree holder
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in HR and conversant in all aspect of HR functions
  • Experience working in unionised company
  • Experience in organisation development and change management
  • Strong teamwork and influencing skills, with the ability to drive results.
  • Capability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • An organized and meticulous approach to tasks.
  • Proficient in delivering effective presentations to the leadership team.
  • Demonstrate initiative, independence, and flexibility to improve processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Familiar with Singapore’s legislation and MOM Work Pass guideline.
  • Knowledge in job evaluation methodology.
  • Experience in digitalisation of HR processes. E.g. Office 365 applications (including Power BI, Power Automate, etc.), workday
