To ensure continuous growth, the Business Development Manager will be focussing on positioning COWI to the local and international contractors working with large infrastructure projects which includes MRT, underground structures, bridges, ports, coastal protection, and waterfront developments. Additionally, you will act as the ambassador of COWI Singapore with an established reputation and client base.
Furthermore, in this role you will:
- Promote client engagement, cultivate positive relations, and identify areas for business and market strategy development.
- Meet market top and bottom-line goals and maintain COWI's business prospects and pipeline on domestic and international markets.
- Ensure quality and consistency of proposals and submissions, both commercially and contractually.
- Identify areas to support business and technical development, collaborate with large infrastructure sales teams globally for coordinated efforts.
- Collaborate with teams for recommendation on EOI's and bid submission with focus on achieving high quality scores and tender success rates.

The key to succeed in this role lies in your enthusiasm for establishing a clear and purposeful direction for planning and supporting the business in seizing identified opportunities. You can as a team worker delegate responsibility and ensure an open and safe dialogue, and you participate in the teams aspiration to coach each other to achieve overall aspirations through constructive, fact-based feedback.
On top of that, you have:
- Relevant educational background with 6 years or more commercial work experience in winning local and international projects.
- Advanced interpersonal and relationship building skills along with recognised problem-solving skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management both internally and externally.
- Outstanding inter-personal skills and aptitude to work collaboratively in a diverse multi-disciplinary and nationality team.
- Comprehensive communication skills in English and preferably able to communicate in Mandarin.
