Job Description
- Conceptualizing and supervising the implementation of arts development programs to widen engagement and deepen progressive development of beneficiaries.
- Planning and overseeing the organization of the biennial Dreamseeds Arts Fest to champion the creative pursuits and aspirations of our beneficiaries and showcase their artistic talents.
- Developing and implementing the Creative Care Plan, incorporating evidence-based practices to enhance the overall health and well-being of our beneficiaries through the arts.
- Collaborating with the Enterprise & Community Engagement department to drive:
- Marketing, sponsorship, advocacy, and partnership initiatives through Dreamseeds Arts Fest and other platforms for arts exhibitions and performances
- Development of collective of artists and adaptation of artworks for the designing of Club Rainbow merchandise and commissioned artworks.
- Establishing collaboration with community partners and external stakeholders to deliver expertise and domain knowledge.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of programs and developing strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
- Managing and directing the Arts Development team, providing supervision and guidance.
- Compiling, maintaining, and providing monthly, quarterly, and annual statistics and progress reports.
- Performing any specific projects and duties assigned by the supervisor and Executive Director as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree
- Experience in the arts sector and arts-related work in public arts events and programmes is preferred
- Strong inter-personal skills with an interest in relationship building
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- 1 to 3 years in a supervisory position with experience in managing people will be an advantage
