Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a hyper converged physical/virtual desktop environment and user mobile devices by enabling central push of OS images, security controls, software updates, patches, license controls and troubleshooting.
- Manage user, device and biometric based authentication for client computers and mobile access to the campus network, published web-based, mobile and SaaS applications.
- Identify trends and develop insights on end-user device usage, access locations, types and baseline configurations, etc. for security, compliance, service enhancement and continuous operations review.
- Continuously re-engineer the end-point architecture, operating environment and connectivity in order to enhance ease of use, performance, security and overall user experience.
- Manage user communications, release coordination and reporting.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- About 10 years of working experience in IT, inclusive of 5 years experience in desktop and mobile device management, security & compliance, user authentication, single-sign-on and virtualization, etc.
- Good knowledge with hands-on experience in VMware Horizon, Workspace ONE, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Workspace ONE Access, NSX, SAML
- A problem solver with proven analytical, writing and communication skills.
