ParallelChain Lab is seeking an experienced community growth strategist who understands the pulse of web3 and DeFi landscapes.
Your mission is to not only grow the ParallelChain community but to empower it, turning the blockchain into the go-to open-source platform for innovative projects and collaborations.
This role demands a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and community engagement skills.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore.
Main Duties
- Develop and execute integrated strategies to materially scale the communities and ensure they resonate with the target web2 and web3 audiences.
- Assist in refining and evolving the project roadmap, ensuring it is sustainably and strategically aligned with market demands and opportunities.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships that enhance ParallelChain’s value proposition.
- Maintain good relationships with developers, end-users, partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Forge deep connections with our communities by keeping them informed and excited about our developments, events, and milestones.
- Be actively involved in discussions and feedback loops across various platforms, including Discord, X, and Telegram. Your engagement will extend beyond office hours.
- Plan, organise and participate in initiatives and campaigns including hackathon, grants, webinars, workshops, and conferences.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure cohesive messaging and leverage community feedback for product enhancements.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on community engagement metrics to inform strategy and initiatives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science fields.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in web3 or DeFi sectors, with a proven track record of meaningful contributions to community growth.
- Deep understanding of the DeFi landscape, including the culture, technologies, and key players.
- Experience in liaising with and managing external agencies.
- Ability to conceptualise strategic initiatives and translate them into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
