Our team of caring and compassionate staff offers advanced level care to all veterinary patients big and small. We are located in Alexandra and have easy access to Labrador Park MRT and Alexandra Retail Centre Mall.


Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized candidate to fill the position of
Inventory Manager in a 24-hour veterinary hospital. The inventory manager will
develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain for medical supplies, equipment, and services.
He/she will manage the stocks of the hospital at the most optimal level based on costs and storage capacity. The candidate will work closely with the hospital procurement manager to achieve these objectives. He/she will assist in transitioning to an electronic stock management and reordering system. The candidate will help with stock pricing and entering prices and stock numbers into the electronic medical system to allow automated billing for the hospital. Candidate has to be a team player, a problem solver, and communicate effectively with all of the nursing team, management team and directors.

Responsibilities:
● Purchase equipment, medical supplies, and medications in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets when necessary.
● Execute and drive inventory control in the storeroom.
● Improve stock turnaround time and safely stock levels to achieve optimal
inventory cost.
● To generate and review inventory reports to measure and monitor KPI for
effective inventory management.
● Work closely with the Procurement Manager to identify cost savings
opportunities and manage cost reduction activities.
● Conduct and participate in stock take and reporting any issues to the hospital manager.
● Ensure stock and documentation integrity by conducting internal checks and
audits.
● Prepare and issue purchase orders to selected vendors.

● Evaluate quotations, create a competitive advantage for the best price, lead
time and delivery terms.
● Ensure compliance with the Company’s guidelines and policies.
● Ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve.
● Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including supply
disruptions, quality issues, and regulatory compliance concerns.
● Streamlining inventory integration with ezyVet medical software to enhance
billing efficiency.
● To work with the procurement manager to align and amend SOP of
procurement to adhere to quality standards.
● Reconciliation of stock discrepancies and work with individual teams for
closure.
● Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking/ out-of-stock
(OOS)/ misallocation.
● Record daily deliveries to reconcile inventory.
● In the absence of the Procurement Manager, he/she will take over her duties
of procuring large items, medical equipment care/maintenance and overall
inventory/stock monitoring.

Requirements:
● At least a diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management /
Logistics Management.
● At least 3 years of experience in Inventory Management with preferably a
supervisory/managerial experience.
● Analytical, financially & numerically astute with strong proven problem
identification and solution abilities.
● Good verbal & written communication ability, interpersonal and influencing
skills.
● Able to work independently, multi-task, and respond quickly in a fast-paced
environment.
● Experienced in establishing e-procurement in an organization.
● Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
● Singaporeans only.
