Your role:
We are looking for an experienced SRE Network Ops engineer to join our engaged and innovative Networt operations team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership across the network technologies, design and implement solutions adhering to the bank’s product and standards. You will work with the architecture, engineering, capabilities owners/managers, vendor management and service providers’ teams to implement new solutions and support the organisational handover to the NOC. We offer a strategic opportunity to work closely with IT leadership and a large variety of stakeholders to make a real impact in terms of production stability, continuous service improvement and best practice sharing across the environment.

Your expertise:
You are able to work independently and in collaboration with various stakeholders as part of a global team. You have a curious mindset and are interested to learn and adapt with the ever-changing technologies and requirements in the financial industry.
- bachelor’s degree or a professional degree in computer technology with 10 years of experience with NetDevOps practices and tools
- support and troubleshooting of core network enterprise infrastructure and devices around Cisco (JUNOS, Cisco IOS/Nexus), Juniper (Juniper MX,EX & SRX platforms) and Arista technologies as well as experience in working with MPLS wide area networks
- provide hands-on Proactive/Reactive maintenance and troubleshooting of Network data/Security Environments.
- strong understanding and troubleshooting skills across all key technologies in Enterprise Data Center and Client LAN Networks (e.g. VXLAN, EVPN Spine/Leaf, Cisco ACI, VRF, HSRP, VPC, LACP, QoS, Multicast)
- troubleshooting skills across WAN technologies (e.g. SDWAN, MPLS) and routing protocols (e.g. EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
- experience with Network Sniffers (e.g. Wireshark/ TCPDUMP etc.)
- experience with Arista and Juniper Routers & Switches and Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, F5/Citrix NetScaler Load Balancers desired
- knowledge with Automation and Scripting is desirable and preferred (e.g. Python, Ansible)
