Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth daily processing of Private Banking transactions, settlements and corporate actions and payments is performed and processed on timely and accurately in accordance to the policy/guideline
- Actively engage in new project / UAT testing to enhance our process and objective of optimizing automation
- Perform first line of checks of clearing and custody for securities and derivative transactions as well as reconciliations.
- Work closely with business departments to support dailyprocessing and settlement
- Review and enhance workflow and procedures to achieve operational efficiency
- Handle reporting to Head office and MAS related to Private Banking business
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of operations experience in private bank business
- Excellent knowledge of investment products, such as FX, bonds, equities, mutual funds and structured products (DCI, ELN).
- Strong awareness of operational risk controls, local and overseas market practices and regulatory requirements.
- Avaloq system experience preferred.
- Unyielding attention to detail, even when under pressure
- Team player that remains calm while managing conflicting priorities
- Works with absolute discretion, tactfulness and adaptability to changing demands
- Able to communicate with headquarter counterparties in mandarin.
