Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor
Responsibilities:
Monitor all financial aspects of the project to ensure the project is within the budget.
Liaise, coordinate and have good rapport with the team members, consultants, client,
contractors, suppliers and architects
Prepare and analyze cost comparison
Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors
Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
Responsible in Post-Contracts administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts
Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors on certification of claims for payment
Be familiar with various stages of projects so as to source for the most viable yet reasonable priced materials
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field discipline
Minimum 5 years’ construction experience
Possess strong technical and administrative background to meet reporting
and documentation requirement
