Job Description:
As a Rotating Machine Service Engineer, You will be involved in various aspects of maintenance, repair, and overhauling (MRO) of rotating machinery, with a focus on conducting MRO, vibration analysis, coordinating technical solutions, and ensuring the quality of repair work.
Job Scopes:
- Conduct vibration analysis for rotating equipment using Machinery Vibration Analyser.
- Analyse vibration data to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with superiors, suppliers, and customers regarding technical solutions and the timely execution of service jobs.
- Collaborate with the workshop service teams and customers as a team player in matters related to repair and overhauling.
- Supervise the repair and overhauling (MRO) of rotating equipment, including pumps, air compressors, gearboxes, etc.
- Perform balancing, alignment, and required test runs to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure repair quality for rotating equipment, both at the workshop and on-site.
- Develop repair procedures and checklists to standardize the MRO process.
- Prepare comprehensive final service reports detailing the work performed and outcomes.
- Conduct component failure analysis for rotating equipment to determine root causes.
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance, repair, and overhauling of rotating equipment, including pumps, air compressors, and gearboxes in oil and gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries.
- Hold a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably in the mechanical field.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of rotating machinery principles, vibration analysis techniques, and MRO processes.
- Exhibit effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Possess Class 3 Driving License
