PDI Operations Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • In charge of overseeing the coordination of tasks related to Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
  • Maintain proper organisation of all PDI documentation, including Job cards, Invoices, warranty claims, creation of purchase orders, and Good Return Notes (GRNs)
  • Assign and supervise PDI work carried out by mechanics/technicians in the workshop
  • Collaborate with external contractors to ensure necessary PDI work is completed
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on PDI work conducted by technicians and contractors
  • Ensure that new or pre-owned car finishes meet the highest standards of quality, meeting customer expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved upon delivery of the car to the customer
  • Offer administrative and technical assistance to sales staff during the delivery process
  • Address any outstanding PDI work that may be required after delivery
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally handling inquiries and resolving issues for clients
  • Assist when required with the day-to-day operations, including scheduling and coordinating motor vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and targets

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Nitec in Automotive Technology or its equivalent
  • Proven experience in customer service and operations, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
  • Ability to handle various tools and equipment
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence
