Product Specialist, Telemarketing

Job Purpose

You will market personal line products to OCBC customers through outbound effort and handle inbound sales enquiries with high quality customer experience.


The Job

· Convert leads provided by bank to sales through telemarketing

· Handle customer enquiries with confidence

· Correspond with customers through emails

· Liaise with internal departments on policy fulfillment

· Achieve sales target set out by business

· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

· Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

· Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.


Our Requirements

· Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / Diploma

· Applicants with the Certificate in General Insurance/ BCP & PGI will be preferred

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· A good team player with ability to multitask and meets stringent service standards

· Well organized and systematic in work

· Keen to learn and positive work attitude

· Proficient in Microsoft office and AS400

· Meticulous in documentation and fulfillment work

· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.

· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
