Piping Supervisor
Coordinating and managing the staff team + specialist sub-contractors. Creating and managing team schedules, issues and disputes. Follow all site safety requirements to ensure the safety and wellbeing management of all stakeholders. Keeping the project resourced with plant and materials.
Usual Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and managing the staff team + specialist sub-contractors

- Monitoring productivity and providing feedback
- Problem-solving
- Monitoring and controlling all aspect
- Providing reports on works completed
- Supervise fabrication and installation of piping items
- Responsible for safety in workplace & workers/contractors
- Coordinates with QC, Painting Supervisors and clients’ representative for hydro-testing
- Monitor site progress in order to achieve planned schedule
- Prepare documents such as JCS, SI when required
- Responsible for Material Take Off (MTO)
Requirements:
- 5 years + experience in a supervisor position (Marine construction & structures experience)
- Ideally have come from a trade/tools background
- Good knowledge of rigging and barge/crane work
- Must have experience with working over water, piling and temporary work environment.
- Extensive commitment and understanding of all matters relating to health & safety and the environment
- Demonstrated experience in directing and managing your own labour force to achieve the desired outcome, keeping in mind commercial constraints
- Previous experience in self-performing works, with hands-on experience.
