Summary
Developing and implementing Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) policies in line with company and industry QHSSE standards. Required to be very familiar with ISM Code, ISPS Code and ISO requirements and assist in preparation of QHSSE audits/inspections.
Job Description
- Managing and maintaining company’s QHSSE policies and system onboard the vessels
- Preparation of inspections/audits related to QHSSE onboard vessels and in office
- Complying/maintaining documents of related to QHSSE department
- Investigation of any accident/incident/near miss and root cause analysis
- Monitor and review JSA, RA, PTW system
- Develop Ship’s security plan and ship security assessment for vessels
- Regular inspection of vessels to ensure the safety and security standards are in compliance with ISM and ISPS code
- Conduct shipboard training and promote safety and security awareness among the crew
Job Requirement
- Minimum Diploma with Maritime or relevant qualifications with at least 2-year of QHSSE experience
- Must have Internal Auditor /ISM/ISPS/DPA/DPA/ISO certificates
- Candidate working as Superintendent on offshore vessels will be an added advantage
- Team player yet able to work independently
- Must be able to travel with short notice
