We are seeking a proactive individual to join our in-house media team as a Junior Video Editor. No working experience is required, but prior internships with hands-on experience as an editor is highly preferred (please include it in CV). As part of our expansion effort, we understand the importance of growth and mentorship. You will be groomed for your next stage of your career, on both soft and technical skills. And it starts with a clear brief on branding guidelines and product knowledge, demanding a level of attention to detail in your work. Moving on to various stages that will allow you to progress along this role at a good pace.
Your daily activities:
- Briefed on various project requirements
- Organise your own workflow to deliver tasks as assigned
- Tasks include; Subtitling, Creating Thumbnails, Create short-form videos, Cutdown of existing videos to adapt to social media format (1:1, 9:16, 16:9)
- Incorporate music, audio, and graphic elements to create cohesive and appealing short form videos according to your ability as assessed
- Assist the team with categorising past footage to organised folders for retrieval
- Engage in constructive communication and idea-sharing
- Gaining experience from seniors and handling incremental levels of task assigned
Requirements:
- Communication skills and knowing how to exercise initiative
- Organised and disciplined
- Attention to detail
- "There is no problem that cannot be solved" attitude
- Has a creative mind and daring attitude to try turning problems into opportunities
- Beginner knowledge of video, audio and graphic editing on Adobe Suite
- Namely: Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects
- Fluent in English, Mandarin fluency is a big plus
