Security Officer (1-Year Contract)

What You'll Do:

1. Supervise and facilitate entry for SP Tel and their approved workers into all Transmission or Distribution Stations
2. To check and verify the personnel entering are security cleared.
3. Conduct basic safety briefing and safety checks.
4. Compliance to security & safety procedures.
5. To follow up with respective sections for any defects observed.
6. Respond to urgent activations and faults.
7. To safekeep SPPG Keys which are personally issued.
8. Assist in other duties as assigned by Team Leader and/or Reporting Officer.
   

What You’ll Need:

1. NITEC certification or higher.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Microsoft Words, Excel & Outlook).
3. Well-spoken & good command of English.
4. Initiative-taking and able to work under little or no supervision.
5. Must be a team-player and able to work in a team environment.
6. Able to work above office hours & perform standby duty.
7. Adapt to a spontaneous, challenging environment.
8. Subject to full-background check and cleared security screening.
