JOB SUMMARY
· We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Product and Platform Management team, an integral part of the Group Advisory and Managed Investments team (Wealth Management) within Standard Chartered Bank.
· Group Advisory and Managed Investments team covers Funds, Alternative Investments and ETFs and owns the approval process for these products across the retail and private bank segments. The Product and Platform Management team in turn supports the Global Advisory and Managed Investments team for primarily non due diligence matters.
· This is a Director (Band 5) role, based in Singapore, with a hybrid WFH + WFO setup.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
· Support and assist the team in all projects related to Managed Investments.
· Key responsibility and oversight for the Standard Chartered Funds VCC project, from end-to-end perspective.
· Standard Chartered Funds VCC is the first SC branded fund vehicle domiciled in Singapore that will be used to host underlying sub-funds that will be distributed exclusively for SC clients (AI/PI equivalent).
· Responsible for the fund operational workflow between investment manager and fund custodian, transfer agent / fund administrator.
· Monitor and manage all service provider relationships relating to Standard Chartered Funds VCC, including internal governance requirements.
Alternatives Funds Onboarding
· Support and assist the team in the onboarding of Alternatives funds, including fund setup, operational queries and general administrative matters pertaining to Alternatives funds.
Sales Data Management
· Assist in the collation of all Managed Investments sales, revenue and AUM data collation and dissemination.
· Ensure timely publication of performance/sales trends data of the Managed Investments business to internal/external stakeholders.
· Work closely with key fund partners to manage the sales data required for business meetings as well as for senior stakeholders.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
· Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
· Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
· Lead the Product and Platform Management Team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
· Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

· Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in Singapore/Wealth Management/Group MI; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)
Our Ideal Candidate
· 10+ years of experience in the wealth management/asset management industry.
· Experience and strong knowledge of fund launch cycle (from product development to fund launch) will be required.
· Experience with transfer agent / fund administrator related work is a strong plus.
· Able to work independently to solve critical issues.
· Competent in Excel, Powerpoint, with keen eye for preparing presentation decks.
· Experience with utilising Lipper, Morningstar, Bloomberg databases
· Communication and analytical skills is paramount
· Meticulous and attention to detail is key
· Enjoy working in a challenging, fast paced environment
