Job Responsibilities:
*Implement the case management sercvices as well as plan, review and conduct support programs for the offenders in the community.
*As part of Specialised Services Department, you will work closely with other stakeholders and community resources.
*Assessment, implementation and review of the supervisee's reintegration process.
*Ensure integration of supervisees' assessment and treatment services in a throughcare approach for the rehabilitation of offenders in the community.
*Engagement and collaboration with community agencies in the provision of correctional counselling treatment services and monitoring and assessing the quality of servicces provided.
*Build trust, gain the confidence of prison inmates or ex-offenders.
*Provide casework for families and individuals.
*Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
*Administration and co-facilitattion of core and auxiliary services in group work and support groups and special events.
Job Requirements:
*Degree in Social Work / Counselling / Psychology or Postgraduate in Counselling.
*Minimum 2 years of work experience with prison inmates or ex-offenders.
*Prepared to work during non-office hours.
*Comfortable working with ex-offenders and their families in the community.
*Knowledge of clinical counselling and case management in consultation with the Specialised Services team and with community partners .
