Key Requirements
• A bachelor's in accounting, business management, finance, or similar.
• At least 15 years of experience as Business analyst with expertise in Cards and Payment domain.
• Thorough knowledge of the area of specialization – Cards and Payments
• Ability to understand the bigger picture
• Working knowledge of data and process modelling
• Elicitation and comprehension skills
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation within the organisation’s context.
• Ability to evaluate and analyse existing business processes, and uncover areas for improvements.
• Ability to envision and design end to end business processes keeping an eye on the details.
• Ability to gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful documentation.
• Ability to communicate and clarify requirements with developers.
• Ability to identify and clearly document dependencies.
• Excellent functional / documentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
Key Responsibilities
• Be an authority in the area of specialization - Cards and Payments
• Fulfil the role of a subject matter expert in requirement elicitation
• Document requirements, create functional specifications and prepare flowcharts
• Define detailed business processes, spanning both online and offline aspects. Coordinate with various stakeholders in the Bank to get detailed requirements, and ensure that they are met through proposed solution.
• Analyze and decompose complex requirements ensuring that they follow the Bank’s prescribed format
• Ability to analyze the Bank’s existing systems and highlight areas of improvement
• Enhance opportunities by identifying new software/service to be developed
• Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications
• Validate the functionality of the end product according to the requirement specifications
• Consult Solution Architect or System Analyst for technical requirements.
• Be available for Product Owner to discuss any dependencies or backlog topic. Assist the Product Owner in defining finer details of the product.
• Assist on operational impact and ensure affected areas embed in operational readiness plan
