About our client: Our client is a contractor for Structural and Architectural works.
About the role:
- Provide strategic leadership for the organization, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the successful execution of projects and overall business growth.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
- Efficiently manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Act as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and secure future business opportunities.
- Oversee the management of the public outreach program, ensuring effective communication with the public, addressing community concerns, and maintaining a positive image of the organization.
- Handle all contractual issues related to projects, including review, negotiation, and interpretation of contract.
- Manage administrative tasks and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Performs tender adjudication on tender awards put up by Project teams as part of due diligence to ensure prices are competitive and all transactions are done above board with proper justification - to safeguard the company against any possible loss of profits, reputation, etc
- Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environment, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all time and identify high risks safety hazard activities before construction and approval of Method Statement
About you:
- Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in RC structure works for HDB projects and understanding of formwork, rebar, concrete & precast installation
- Strong skills to control the site progress
- Able to work independently and cope in a fast-paced environment
- Well-versed in construction sequence, principles, and regulatory requirements
- Independent, diligent, meticulous, and highly motivated with excellent team spirit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
