Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily Roll Grinding tooling refurbishment cycle.
- Set up and operate roll grinding machine for different tooling refurbishment cycle.
- Dismantling, set up and arrange tooling prior or after refurbishment cycle.
- Perform Pre and Post-grinding tooling cleaning prior or after refurbishment cycle.
- Perform post-tooling inspection prior to delivery to end customer.
- Liaise with respective team members and supervisor to ensure continuous and uninterrupted tooling delivery for end customers.
- Practice and execute right and safe work ethic according to Roll Grinding Work Instruction.
- Lead Staff Technicians in daily Roll Grinding tooling activities.
- Proficient in using different measuring equipment.
- Upholding & execution of 5'S methodologies.
- Proficiency in updating Roll Grinding "LPMS" structure.
- Execute "MultiPoint" tooling Eccentricity measurement and recording.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Involved in advanced tooling refurbishment cycle troubleshooting - tools surface.
- Assist supervisor in daily checklist recording and upkeep of all documents.
- Check and review daily Roll Grinding communication log book and pass down.
- Trigger Shift Plan Change planning and coverage.
- Reporting to departmental supervisor.
- Plan / Assist supervisor in planning tooling refurbishment execution to ensure smooth tooling delivery.
Requirements:
- NTC/ITC Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in CNC
- Ability to use analytical skills, “hands-on” person and able to work with heavy machinery
- Ability to work rotating shift and perform overtime on weekdays & weekends.
- Good interpersonal skills, proactive and works well with others.
- Strong personality with the ability to assert oneself
- Systematic approach to problem solving and decision making
- Proficient in using different measuring equipments.
